Circus

We took Olivia to the circus on Saturday. She had a great time and did great sitting through the whole thing which was over 2 hours long. It was a little upsetting pulling in because there were protesters standing outside with signs that had pictures of elephants in chains and talking about abuse of circus animals. I hope that it's not true - I wasn't expecting them to be there.

It was nice to get out of the house and do something different. Last week was kind of a rough week. They are still laying people off at work and my friend Lori was let go on Thursday. I called her today and she's doing good. I know she'll be ok but I know it's really hard to find work right now with the way things are going. There seems to be no slowing down - they have still been laying people off this week in other locations I heard today.

I go tomorrow to have another ultrasound. I will be 25 weeks on Thursday. They noticed that I have a low lying placenta and if it doesn't move they will have to do a c-section so they are checking to see where it's at now. I guess it's nothing major and the majority of people that have it have no problems because it ends up moving.

We are making progress with the potty training. Not quite there yet but she is going on her own at times without me asking. I heard her upstairs the other day calling for help. I went to see what was going on and she was sitting on top of the big potty trying to put on her big girl undies and she had both legs in one hole and was stuck. She did go potty on her own and was trying to change her pull up to undies on her own so that is definitely progress!!
