Sorry it's been so long since I have posted anything but January was a hard month and I just didn't feel like spending much time on my computer. I didn't really take many pictures either. It was just a stressful and depressing month. It's always really busy at work because it's year-end and we also had to say goodbye to a good friend that was killed in the line of duty. One of Sean's oldest friends, Paul Richey a PA state trooper was shot and killed on January 13th. We made a quick trip home for the funeral and I have to say the viewing and the funeral were the saddest two days of my life. We hadn't actually seen Paul and his family in a few years since we moved to NC and of course we now regret that. He left behind his wife Carrie and two beautiful children. My heart is just broken for them. Life is definitely too short and sometimes so unfair.
Beau has been sick off and on. He's had two ear infections in the past month and the typical cold, cough and runny nose. I've had to keep him home from daycare a few days which makes it hard on me for work. Luckily I can work from home but it's sometimes difficult to get things done when he can be so unpredictable. I manage but it's hard. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather so maybe he can go a full month without getting sick. We also had some snow last weekend. We were pretty much stuck in the house all weekend because the roads were pretty bad. My parents were here from Friday night until Sunday morning. They were passing through on their way to Florida for the month of February. We wanted to go to the zoo but that didn't happen.
Well I'm off to bed - sorry it's so short but I'm exhausted as usual.

I know that feeling. It's the same for me, no blogs and no pictures. Simply been too busy, stressed and hectic.
You should take care of yourself as well. I had a cold last week, and this week I've got a bladder infection. Luckily, it's nothing that keeps me stuck at home.
Beau being sick reminds me of Julian. Julian had that when he was a baby, and the removal of his tonsils helped. I must say it was great to have had the surgery done, but it still broke my heart when I saw him being put to sleep as he struggled.
Sorry to be a bit off beat here... anyway, just hang in there! We will get thru the tough periods, and yes, I look forward to warmer and nicer days, so that we could go out there and enjoy.
Good to see the pictures. Beau looks so cute in his jumper and Olivia looks like she is enjoying the snow. Hang in there, warmer weather is coming. We miss you all. Mom
