Beau had a rough two months in January and February with three consecutive ear infections. He's been over the last one now for about 2 weeks so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We did take him to an ENT doctor last week but his ears were finally clear so they made an appointment for us at the end of April to check again and to do a hearing test. I'm hoping that was the last of his infections. He was waking up every night with a fever over 104 degrees.
We've finally moved him into Olivia's crib in her old room and moved her into the guest room. We still need to paint her new room pink (her choice) and move all of her stuff over. Beau is currently sleeping in a very "girly" room. They are both doing really well with the transition.
We also started giving Beau a bath in a bigger tub instead of the infant one in our kitchen sink. It's a big yellow blow up duckie - Olivia had the same one. She of course had to try it out again too. She barely fits but she doesn't mind. She's taken all of her baths in it this week.

Beau still looks very baby to me, though yes, his hair cut makes him looking more like a boy now than just a baby. I think that's something about boys, since with girls, they still would be one cute little girl. Boys will want to be cool, and go playing tough with their dads. And girls do still cuddle up with the moms. Of course there are exceptions.
Julian did have his haircut before 1 I believe. Beau seems to have quite some hair, and is very blond!
I love that duck in the bath tub. I had never seen it before, or else I probably would have got one for Julian when he was a baby. He now just stands in the tub for me to shower him.
I can very much imagine how tiring and worrying that must have been with Beau's ear infections. Hope he stays healthy now. Though every time I try telling myself that at least our children aren't having serious illness, I still worry, and feel bad about our little precious has to suffer.
Anyway, wonderful to see your blog again. I've been lazy and haven't been in the mood of writing much lately.
How cute. What a little ham. He is so good natured that I'm not surprised that he was good for his hair cut. Dad and I can sure see you in Beau even more so than Olivia, although we see you in her too.
